Liam O’Connor should have died at sea in 1912.
Maddy Carter should have died on a plane in 2010.
Sal Vikram should have died in a fire in 2026.
Yet moments before death, someone mysteriously appeared and said, ‘Take my hand …’
But Liam, Maddy and Sal aren’t rescued. They are recruited by an agency that no one knows exists, with only one purpose—to fix broken history. Because time travel is here, and there are those who would go back in time and change the past. That’s why the TimeRiders exist: to protect us. To stop time travel from destroying the world…
My Review :
Honestly I hadn’t heard much about this one save for a vague familiarity with the author’s name (This was because of Simon Scarrow on hindsight – who happens to be the author’s brother) and an intriguing synopsis .
I love Time Travel :’) . The idea of going back and forth timelines , having a chance to actually visualize/alter some of the greatest events in history and more over – your own life is an amazing possibility which has held sway over many a writer for a pretty long while.
Coming back to the review , this book was amazing . Period .
And far exceeded my expectations . It was Outstanding .
I know , I know . This isn’t a NEWT :3
From Liam , Maddy and Sal’s Backstory to their bond as a team eventually becoming Time Riders and their joint effort , the author takes us on a roller coaster ride of history , time travel , friendship and paradoxes …
To stop a shady character from changing the prescribed course of time , Hard sacrifices and unflinching efforts must be made .
Its a pretty interesting start for the series .
He’s wacky , funny , loyal and provides for an immensely enjoyable read . (Foster is not far quite behind)
This is a pretty fun ride if you like anything related to Time Travel or adventure .
